Tuition fees

A. The amounts of the tuition fees:

1. during the entire nominal period of study for students admitted to the studies in the academic year 2023/2024 who are Polish citizens or citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or the Member States of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and their family members, citizens of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, referred to in Article 10, para. 1 letter b or letter d of the Agreement on the withdrawal of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland from the European Union and the European Atomic Energy Community (Official Journal of the European Union L 29 of 31 January 2020, pg. 7), and their family members, living in the territory of the Republic of Poland,
2. in the academic year 2023/2024 for students admitted under the previous rules in the academic year 2018/2019 and earlier:

• Polish citizenship students
• foreign students admitted to the studies “under the rules applicable to Polish citizens” as defined in Article 43, para. 2 of the Act of 27 July 2005. – Law on Higher Education (Dz. U. of 2017, item 2183 as amended)

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 118/2023 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 16 May 2023 on the tuition fees for education in the academic year 2022/2023 payable by Polish citizens and citizens of European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation and member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and members of their families, living in the territory of the Republic of Poland, 

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1^st time) is:

– 4200.00 PLN – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 4800.00 PLN – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 18.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 12.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

B. The amounts of the tuition fees during the entire nominal period of study for students admitted to the studies in the academic year 2022/2023 who are Polish citizens or citizens of the Member States of the European Union

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 113/2022 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 28 April 2022 on the tuition fees for education in the academic year 2022/2023 payable by Polish citizens and citizens of European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation and member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and members of their families, living in the territory of the Republic of Poland,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1st time) is:

– 3330.00 PLN – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3900.00 PLN – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 16.50 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

C. The amounts of the tuition fees during the entire nominal period of study for students admitted to the studies in the academic year 2021/2022 who are Polish citizens or citizens of the Member States of the European Union

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 95/2021 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 7 May 2021 on the tuition fees for education in the academic year 2021/2022 payable by Polish citizens and citizens of European Union member states, the Swiss Confederation and member states of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) – parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area and members of their families, living in the territory of the Republic of Poland, 

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1^st time) is:

– 2550.00 PLN – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3000.00 PLN – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 16.50 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

D. The tuition fees’ amounts for the entire nominal period of study for students enrolled in the academic year 2020/2021 who are Polish citizens or citizens of European Union member states

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 123/2020 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 18 June 2020 on the tuition fees for courses and other forms of education in the academic year 2020/2021 (as amended by: Decision no. 176/2020 of the WUT Rector, Decision no. 312/2020 of the WUT Rector),

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to all the attended courses: taken for the 1^st time, retaken, extracurricular ones) is:

– 2550.00 PLN – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3000.00 PLN – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

Retake fee for one repeated course is a sum of:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

E. The tuition fees’ amounts for the entire nominal period of study for students enrolled in the academic year 2019/2020 who are Polish citizens or citizens of European Union member states

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 89/2019 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 24 June 2019 on the tuition fees for courses and other forms of education in the academic year 2019/2020 (as amended by: Decision no. 135/2019 of the WUT Rector, Decision no. 216/2019 of the WUT Rector, Decision no. 311/2020 of the WUT Rector),

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to all the attended courses: taken for the 1^st time, retaken, extracurricular ones) is:

– 2040.00 PLN – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2550.00 PLN – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

Retake fee for one repeated course is a sum of:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

A. The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2023/2024

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 121/2023 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 16 May 2023 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners starting education in the academic year 2023/2024,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1^st time) is:

– 3600.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 4280.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3990.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Data Science

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 18.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 12.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

B.The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2022/2023

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 112/2022 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 28 April 2022 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners starting education in the academic year 2022/2023,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1^st time) is:

– 2880.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3390.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3600.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Data Science

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 16.50 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

C. The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2021/2022

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 94/2021 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 7 May 2021 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners starting education in the academic year 2021/2022,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to the courses attended for the 1^st time) is:

– 2310.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2700.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 3000.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Data Science

Tuition fee for one retaken course is a sum of:

• For Computer Science and Information Systems students:

– 16.50 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

• for Data Science students:

– 11.00 PLN for each hour of instruction (tutorials, laboratory classes, project classes)

– 90.00 PLN – for all hours of instruction (lectures)

D. The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2020/2021

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 119/2020 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of June 2020 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners starting education in the academic year 2020/2021 in first-cycle, second-cycle programmes at the Warsaw University of Technology,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to all the attended courses: taken for the 1^st time, retaken, extracurricular courses) is:

– 1950.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2400.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2400.00 EUR – Master’s degree programme in Data Science

E. The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2019/2020

are calculated in accordance with Decision no. 64/2019 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 21 May 2019 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners starting education in the academic year 2019/2020 in first-cycle, second-cycle or post-graduate programmes at the Warsaw University of Technology (as amended by: Decision no. 251/2019 of the WUT Rector),

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to all the attended courses: taken for the 1^st time, retaken, extracurricular ones) is:

– 1650.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2100.00 EUR – Master’s degree program in Computer Science and Information Systems

F. The tuition fees (in Euros) payable by foreign students beginning their studies in the academic year 2018/2019 and earlier

are calculated in accordance with Decision no.143/2018 of the Warsaw University of Technology Rector of 28 August 2018 on the tuition fees payable by foreigners undertaking study and other forms of education at the Warsaw University of Technology,

which means that the tuition fee per semester of study (30 ECTS assigned to all the attended courses: taken for the 1^st time, retaken, extracurricular ones) is:

– 1650.00 EUR – Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science and Information Systems

– 2100.00 EUR – Master’s degree program in Computer Science and Information Systems

Fees in PLN currency

Any fees in PLN currency (i.e. fee for a student ID card, tuition fees payable by EU citizens) should be paid by a bank transfer to the student’s individual bank account number given at the student’s account in the USOSWeb system.

In order to check the individual bank account number, a student should:

– log into USOSweb,

– select Student’s Section folder,

– click on the icon: Accounting.

The individual bank account number is shown next to the name of the Faculty.

Fees in EUR currency

Any fees in EUR currency (i.e. tuition fees payable by non-EU citizens) should be paid by a bank transfer to the WUT bank account number:

Please DO NOT make EUR currency transfers to the student’s individual bank account number!

Such a bank transfer might not be successfully executed or may result in a substantial underpayment (in such a case the bank changes the EUR amount into a PLN amount according to the bank’s exchange rate which usually differs much from the NBP exchange rate used by the accountancy office.

If you wish you can pay a fee in EUR currency using the PLN currency:

1. Calculate on your own the equivalent amount of the fee in PLN according to the middle exchange rates of foreign currencies – table A of the day before the day of making the payment, published at the website of the National Bank of Poland (Narodowy Bank Polski – NBP).

2. Transfer the equivalent amount in PLN to your student individual bank account number given in USOSWeb.

Bank transfer confirmations

International students – non-EU citizens are kindly asked to send every tuition fee payment confirmation by email to the dean’s office, regardless of whether the payment was made in EUR currency or in the form of the equivalent amount in PLN currency.

Bank transfer confirmations are needed by the faculty accountancy office to book the amounts properly at students’ USOSWeb accounts.
